Randominder Privacy Policy
Randominder is an app made by Flow Apps. This page explains what the app collects, why, and what it never collects.
- Randominder has no accounts, no ads and no tracking.
- We never see what you write or create in the app.
- The app sends anonymous diagnostics, so we can fix crashes and improve it. This data is not linked to you.
What Randominder collects
The app collects diagnostics only. On the App Store, this appears under "Data Not Linked to You" in the app's privacy label.
- Crash data. When the app crashes, it sends a crash report: where in the code the problem happened, the app version, the device model, the iOS version, and the state of the device at that moment, such as free memory and storage. We use this to keep the app working.
- Other diagnostic data. The app sends anonymous events, such as the app being opened, a screen being shown or a feature being used. If the app offers in-app purchases, a purchase is recorded too: the product and its price, never your payment details. Each event comes with general device details: device model, iOS version, app version, language, and your country or region. We use this to see how the app performs and which features matter.
To tell one installation of the app from another, these reports carry identifiers that do not say who you are: random installation IDs created by Firebase, and the identifier that iOS gives to all apps from one developer on your device (the IDFV). They are not your Apple ID, your name or your email address. They are never used for advertising. Deleting the app resets the random IDs.
Your country or region is estimated from your IP address. The IP address itself is not stored.
What Randominder never collects
- Your name, email address, phone number or contacts.
- Anything you write, create or save in the app. It stays on your device and in your own iCloud account. We can't see it.
- Your precise location, your photos or your health data.
- Advertising identifiers. The app has no ads, and it does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
How we use it
Only to find and fix crashes, and to decide what to improve. We don't sell this data, we don't use it for advertising, and we don't combine it with anything that could identify you.
Who processes it
The diagnostics are collected with two Google services: Firebase Crashlytics and Google Analytics for Firebase. Google processes the data on our behalf, and may do so on servers outside your country, including in the United States. Google takes part in the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Frameworks. Apple handles downloads and payments through the App Store, under Apple's Privacy Policy. If you chose to share analytics with app developers in your device's settings, Apple also gives us crash and usage statistics. They contain nothing personal.
How long it is kept
Crash reports are deleted after 90 days. Analytics events are deleted after 14 months at most. Totals that can no longer be tied to any installation, such as how many people use a feature, may be kept longer.
Your choices and rights
Deleting the app stops all collection. Because the diagnostics are not linked to your identity, we usually can't tell which reports came from you. Even so, depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for access to your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to its use, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Where the law asks for a legal basis, ours is our legitimate interest in keeping the app reliable. Email us and we will help.
Children
Randominder is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. The address of this page stays the same.
